Green Tea Lavender by Elizabeth Arden is a carefree aromatic fragrance which relaxes and refreshes. Green Tea Lavender was introduced in 2010. One of the very few Green Tea flankers that many find to be as timeless as the original, while still adding enough of something different. This is much less citrus and white floral than the original, and is primarily a gentle lavender, with chamomile, green tea and mint being the main discernible notes, with the base being your typical white musk woody Green Tea base. The chamomile here is not hot or spicy, it’s just a calm and soothing chamomile, and same with the lavender, which doesn’t feel masculine or cologne-like, but perfectly genderless and refreshing. It do feel this shines best in warmer weather, as a way to refresh your skin after a hot day or a workout especially by throwing it in the fridge! .
Describing the scent, it comes on quite sharp when sprayed, like being smacked in the face with a bouquet of lavender dipped in lemon juice. This mercifully lasts for only a minute before it takes on a warm and spicy scent of lavender and mint , feels like a luxurious, stress relieving bath. You won’t stop sniffing wrist when it reaches this stage. The lemon, though not a star, can be picked out in the background, and it dries down to a comforting, quiet, lavendery musk.
