A simple yet well balanced composition. Super aquatic, with some citrus which accentuate its freshness and, in the heart, green and woody notes to provide substance. It honours the original CW, modernizing this classic with a more contemporary smell. But it’s not a groundbreaking fragrance, as the original CW was. Wave is pretty generic, meaning that it doesn’t have a strong “memory” factor. It just smells like too many aquatic freshies out there.

Still, it’s a joy to wear during hot days, because you just feel super clean, and as refreshed as if you were just coming out of the swimming pool. Very uplifting indeed. This is such an amazing fragrance and a safe blind buy! If you are an owner of legend spirit this would be kind of a redundant and unneeded purchase. Upon initial spray you get a blast of slightly salty sea notes and fresh squeezed sweet grapefruit. It is a mass pleaser and the dry down is pretty much identical to legend spirit. This does not have the bubble gum opening like spirit but once the fragrance dries down it smells about the same. If you need a new summer fragrance look no further this is great.
